I’d daily the Eurosport, track the Spirit, and burn the SHO. How about you, Oppo?

My dad had a Spirit R/T.
stock up on timing belts. and hope to God you can still find a Cometic MLS head gasket for it.

Hate to break it to ya, but...the Spirit R/T wasn’t introduced until ‘91.

DD: R/T, because I would love to embarrass other cars at a traffic light in a fucking Spirit.
Track: SHO, so I can hear that Yamaha V6 sing like it should
Burn: GM shitbox.

This is the correct answer.

OK, so 80s-looking American “Sport” Sedan edition.

You’d burn the SHO, I’m sensing some trauma in your life.

DD: SHO
Track: Spirit (it won’t be reliable enough to DD)
Burn: Eurosport

DD the Spirit. Add a manual boost controller and a 3" exhaust and have tons of fun.
Track the SHO: When the that Yamaha engine is mated to it’s proper 5-speed manual, it’s actually a pretty fun car and I have actually seen a few at Auto-x’s and HPDE’s.
Burn the Eurosport. Slow, automatic, and butt ugly.

Burn Gm immediately.
Track the dodge
Daily that Yamaha v6.

Burn them all and buy a M5.

Brian1321, who used to frequent these parts, once told me the story of his first car, a Lumina.

I’d daily the SHO, they last forever as long as you’re easy on the transmission. Track the Eurosport, burn the Dodge.

Daily the SHO, track the Spirit, burn the Celebrity.
![]() 08/29/2016 at 12:57 |

DD: SHO (Eurosport if I have to pick a different car)
Track: SHO
Burn: anything that’s left
Those early 90s Chryslers are terrible. I drove a 1990 Dodge that went through 3 transmissions and seriously burned oil in 120,000 miles.

Daily the SHO, track the Spirit, burn the Celebrity.

DD: SHO. It’s way more comfortable and refined.
Track: Spirit R/T. It’s rough and ready, but faster than the SHO and handles a bit better.
Burn: Eurosport. It’s the most boring A-body and the Eurosport is pretty much just a sport appearance package. Give me a Century GS, a Ciera International, or especially a 6000 STE AWD. But not a Celebrity Eurosport.

my bro has a r/t for sale. why does he have it for sale? because the stupid rare as heck cylinder heads crack because they put steel plugs in an aluminum head.

Burn them all, they’re hideous

+1.

DD: Taurus
Track: Spirit
Burn: Celebrity

No trauma, just burning the SHO because it’s the most common of the three (probably for good reason, but still). Never seen a Spirit RT on the street, and the last time I saw a Eurosport in use has to have been at least 10 years ago.

You’re right, should have went with the Pontiac for this. Oh well.

Daily the Taurus, by far the most competent car here.
Track the Spirit, it’s light I guess.
Burn the Celebrity, no comment.
